Dr. Lin is a passionate brain aneurysm specialist in Orange County and dedicated to delivering the best care possible for her patients.  She specializes in treating brain aneurysms with a new minimally invasive endovascular technique called flow diversion using the Pipeline™ Embolization Device (PED), and she has actively participated in more than 200 cases. As a national expert, she is the most experienced surgeon in this technology in Orange County and travels the country as a PED proctor, teaching other physicians how to use this new technique.  Additionally, Dr. Lin was the principal investigator at UC Irvine for the SCENT Trial, which is a FDA-sponsored multicenter clinical trial for the newest flow diversion technology for brain aneurysm treatments called the Surpass™ Flow Diverter.  Her contributions to the trial were instrumental to the recent FDA approval of the Surpass Flow Diverter and she was the first in the West Coast to provide this technology for her patients in December 2018.  She aims to improve and develop novel endovascular devices and techniques to help patients with cerebrovascular disorders. She is the lead author of several publications.
